With NIB financing, Estonian Elering and Finnish Fingrid will build a second high-voltage electricity cable linking the Nordic and Baltic countries. The Estlink-2 cable crossing the Gulf of Finland will be 170 km long, with 145 km under water. The picture is from the Estonian converter station of Estlink-1.
